How to Stop Bad Behaviors by Recognizing Beliefs

The warrior in the story Love Is NOT a Battlefield (story here http://bliss-soul.com/love-is-not-a-battlefield/) shows us how much someone loves us and how much we love another isn’t always a beautiful romantic movie scene.  Ever noticed how sometimes a person can once in a blue moon treat badly someone they truly love, adore and would NEVER want to live without?  I know that I have done this before!!  Sucks to admit it.  It’s even worse to know that I have done it!!!!

But why? Many times behaviors come down to subconscious beliefs running the show and over riding the conscious choosing mind in a moment of stress.

How do you STOP?  SELF AWARENESS IS KEY. Let’s break it down…

  1. Pay attention to how you feel just before that bad behavior surges or the urge to react badly rises up.
  2. Why do you feel that way?
  3. What are you thinking about yourself?  The other person?
  4. Where does that thought originate within you and about you?  Leave the other person out of this question.
  5. Can you see a belief that is the root of the behavior?

Once you see the belief that is causing the unwanted behavior you can change it.  In the Warrior’s story he “picks his battles”.  That belief sets him up in a paradigm to win or lose instead of the partnership, cooperation and collaboration paradigm.

So how do you change the belief?

 There are many ways to change a belief from hypnosis, past life regression to persistent and consistent mental self awareness to dissolve the belief and reseat a new belief.  All work.  Changing who you are at your core, which changing a belief is doing, is a multi faceted process.  Here is the short version of the process that I created and teach.
  1. Aware of the belief that you wish to change.
  2. Make a conscious choice of what you wish to believe.

Ask yourself, to be fully aligned to this belief how would I…

  1. Feel ~ Get very clear on how you would be feeling if you were aligned to this chosen belief.
  2. Think ~ What supporting thoughts would naturally run through your mind in alignment with this chosen belief.
  3. Speak ~ What types of things would you say to your self, to others as you are aligned to this chosen belief.
  4. Act ~ How are you behaving as you are aligned to this chosen belief.
  5. Energy ~ Be energetically aligned to the new belief.

What???  What about this energy thing???

The Energetic Alignment in my opinion is VERY IMPORTANT as energy supersedes, affects and has the capacity to change all things.  If the concept of Energetic Alignment is new to you I will be explaining THIS FULLY  in upcoming blogs and in a series of YouTube videos.  So breathe easy and practice the first 4 steps and have the intention to be aligned to your chosen belief energetically while you are learning about Energetic Alignment.
